GTA V Online: 5 Ways To Spend Your $500,000

Ka-ching!

Today, Rockstar Games boosted everyone’s online Grand Theft Auto V bank account by releasing the previously-promised $500,000 as way of apology for the horrendous bugs that blighted Online’s release last month.

Anyone who played GTA Online in October will receive the compensatory package and players should start seeing the funds going in from today.

Rockstar expect the cash to have been doled out across its whole fanbase by the end of play tomorrow (Friday), and wrote on their blog asking for fans to be patient if they haven’t seen a boost to their bank accounts yet.

The in-game payment, which has been dubbed by the publishers as a “stimulus package”, is Rockstar’s way of offering something of an olive branch to those who experienced difficulties logging into the servers during the troubled first two weeks of Online’s release.

And, with everyone’s bank balance starting to look just that little bit healthier, fans can begin thinking what exactly they’re going to spend their new-found heap of cash on.

With money no longer an object, gamers can start treating themselves to some luxurious and decadent products, and here, we take a look at 5 Ways To Spend Your $500,000.

GTA V: 10 Hilarious Websites You Must Visit

Published December 13, 2013 by gossipzoo

With so much to do in Grand Theft Auto 5, surfing the “internet” is probably one of the last of your worries, but there are plenty of worthwhile websites to visit. There’s obviously a lot of work put into every single aspect of the game, and the “internet” is certainly no exception-middle finger mouse pointer and all.

Each website is carefully crafted. There are even some websites that allow you to take tests or quizzes, which is surely one of the best parts about the “internet.” The responses to the quiz questions are hysterical, and, as you could surely guess with a game like Grand Theft Auto, the more ridiculous the answer, the more likely it is to be the right one.

Another fantastic instance of the care and attention to detail in each website alone is Lifeinvader. It actually updates for different characters as the game progresses. If that isn’t attention to detail, I don’t know what is.

There are plenty of hilarious websites on the “internet”-way too many to encompass 10 spaces-but here are 10 of the best ones.

10. Theinternetisahellhole.com

Gtawebsite

Things were so much better before the internet. There was only television for the kids. With the hell-hole known as the internet, “1000 years of darkness began.”

Teenagers spend way too much time on the internet, so any responsible parent should make them take the quiz on this website. As the site says, “Start now or they will probably sell a kidney or be molested.”

Click on the link at the bottom of the website to take the quiz. Here’s a sample question:

“A friend has been downloading episodes of Fame or Shame and Jack Howitzer’s reality show from the Internet. He wants to share them with you. Do you:

1. Watch them – Vinewood makes enough money on the back of the working man.

2. Politely say that you’d rather watch them as the network intended, riddled with commercials and only playing while you eat dinner.

3. Dial 911 and say that you’ve witnessed a crime.

Correct Answer 3. Dialing 911 is the compassionate thing to do. The Center for Media Study and Profits estimates that 9 out of 10 murderers began by illegally downloading television shows, as did lots of terrorists and sex addicts.

Sometimes it’s tough love that is the best love at all. For everybody.”

GTA V: 5 Things The Leaked Map Possibly Reveals

Published October 30, 2013 by gossipzoo

Gta V Map

The release of Grand Theft Auto V is so close that we can almost hear the chattering of machine gun fire from here.

In seven (count them) seven short days, the latest in Rockstar Game’s ultra-popular sandbox series will hit stores, causing frenzied lines of fans queuing round the block at their nearest stores.

So far, we’ve had a vast array of screenshots, numerous trailers and several other tidbits of information released surrounding the crime epic, and now, today, the official map has supposedly been leaked online.

The image, seen above, purportedly reveals a series of locations dotted about the in-game universe of Los Santos and its surrounding areas based on Southern California.

While the map itself is sufficiently revealing, it was the accompanying legend that really gives the game away when it comes to what we may expect to stumble upon when we slip the disc in next Tuesday.

In the past, developers Rockstar have helplessly watched on as certain key aspects of GTA V have been leaked onto the internet, and yet another treasure trove of information has landed on our laps earlier than anticipated.

Here, we take a look at 5 Things The Leaked Map Possibly Reveals.

GTA V: 5 Radio Stations Previewed

Published October 10, 2013 by gossipzoo

GTA V 1

Over the weekend, we found out a truckload more information about GTA V, specifically as it pertains to the sound of the game. Rockstar announced that GTA V will have a whopping 15 radio stations along with 2 talk radio stations, totaling over 240 licensed songs, and also an original, context-sensitive score provided by Tangerine Dream’s Edgar Froese, Woody Jackson (who previously worked on Red Dead Redemption and L.A. Noire), and The Alchemist & Oh No.

In addition to the five tracks that Rockstar released samples of, we’ve also learned that the likes of Pam Grier and Kenny Loggins will be hosting other radio stations (soul and rock respectively). While some stations are starting to leak out given the PSN screw-up last week, Rockstar have posted some official sample clips to whet our appetites ahead of the September 17th release date…

5. Vinewood Boulevard Radio

Wavves Gta V

Ensuring that GTA V is going to remain eclectic despite a setting that so clearly lends itself to the rap genre above all others, Vinewood Boulevard Radio is to be a contemporary rock music station, hosted by Stephen Pope and Nate Williams from the band Wavves.

From the sample, Bass Drum of Death’s Crawling After You stands out as a particularly energetic tune that’ll be great fun for racing along the Los Santos streets, leaving the cops trailing in the dust (hopefully). The anti-establishment commentary from Pope and Williams should function as a hilarious satire of stereotypical rock music tropes. Here’s the full track list below, along with the sample:

The Black Angels – Black Grease
Sam Flax – Fire Doesn’t Burn Itself
Metz – Wet Blanket
Ceremony – Hysteria
Bass Drum of Death – Crawling After You
Shark? – California Grrls
FIDLAR – Cocaine
Ty Segall Band – Diddy Wah Diddy
Moon Duo – Sleepwalker
Thee Oh Sees – The Dream
Hot Snakes – This Mystic Decade
