Perhaps the one thing people look forward to more than Wrestlemania itself is who will challenge The Undertaker and try to end his unbeaten streak. In recent years The Undertaker has improved his in ring skills, mixing MMA with his classic wrestling attack making himself more relevant than ever and it’s safe to say more exciting.
Whether anyone should ever beat ‘Taker at ‘Mania is always a hot topic of debate. On the one hand it would be the ultimate endorsement of a future Superstar but on the other hand why invest so much in an idea only to destroy it all at the last minute? And who would end it? How could Vince chose someone and guarantee they wouldn’t end up leaving the company in the next few years? There’s just too many reasons to keep The Streak alive and as we head into Wrestlemania 29 the score stands at Undertaker 20 – WWE Universe 0.
