MILEY CYRUS Responds To SINEAD O’CONNOR By Mocking Mental Illness, Comparing Her To AMANDA BYNES

Published July 15, 2014 by gossipzoo

In recent Hollywood celebrity gossip, MILEY CYRUS has responded to SINEAD O’CONNOR‘s open letter (in which the latter harshly scolds the 20-year-old singer for her wild ways) by mocking her struggles with mental illness and comparing her to AMANDA BYNES.

Okay… someone needs to tell Miley that mocking people with mental health problems (like Amanda, who recently was put under conservatorship after it was revealed that she was suffering from schizophrenia and various other mental health issues) is not cool.

The raunchy singer has no use for any words of advice Sinead had to offer, because after reading her rather severe open letter, Miley decided to take offense and respond by mocking the 46-year-old singer… and the unsuspecting Amanda Bynes.

Just a few hours ago, Miley managed to diss both Sinead and Amanda and make fun of people with mental illnesses all in one fell swoop:

Miley Cyrus: ‘Have I Been To A Strip Club? Yes!’

Published June 25, 2014 by gossipzoo

Miley Cyrus is an artist who knows exactly what she’s singing about.

In a recent interview with London’s Capital FM Breakfast radio show, the songstress admitted to “shaking it like we at a strip club” as her song, “We Can’t Stop,” suggests. (See the full lyrics at Directlyrics.)

“Have I been to a strip club? Yes,” she said.

“I haven’t kept a tally,” she continued when asked how many times she’s been to one, adding that she has stuck dollar bills in G-strings and “made it rain” on dancers in the past.

“Am I supposed to lie? I thought I was confessing!”

Despite her racy image nowadays, the former Disney starlet said her father – country singer Billy Ray Cyrus – is completely fine with her making out with dolls and twerking up a storm.

“I’m 20,” she said “So my dad, he can, like, whatever. He’s proud of me.”

“I don’t do anything that crazy.”

Because, like, simulating oral sex on TV is totally normal.

Miley Cyrus Never Googles Herself: ‘If I Knew What People Say, I’d Probably Hate Myself’

Published May 28, 2014 by gossipzoo

Miley Cyrus pays no heed to her haters.

In a new interview with BBC, the former Disney darling discussed transforming from the sweet-faced Hannah Montana child star to the artist she is today, while ignoring the naysayers all along the way.

“People that probably fall off are the people obsessed with googling themselves and knowing what people are saying,” she said. “If I knew what people are saying about me, I’d probably hate myself. I don’t look at that kind of stuff.”

Cyrus, 20, believes she has a solid fan base backing her as she prepares to drop her forthcoming fourth studio album this fall. Her catchy comeback single, “We Can’t Stop,” hit No. 2 on Billboard Hot 100, and it’s subversive music video has broke Vevo records as the fastest clip to reach 100 million views.

“I knew it was gonna be great,” she said of the video. “And I knew it was gonna go viral like that because it’s just interesting.”

Despite the success of the single, Cyrus is in no rush to push out her much-anticipated new music, which is in part thanks to her name-making – money-making – career on the Disney Channel.

“I worked for five years on something that was a character where I didn’t really get to be completely the creative person that I wanted to be so at this point I did the work that I had to do,” Cyrus said. “I had to kinda make my money and do all that so now I don’t have to worry about necessarily any of that. I can just make music because I love it.”

“It doesn’t have to really be driven by, ‘I wanna build up my fan base,’ because I have an amazing fan base that’s followed me,” she continued. “Now because I don’t have any more responsibilities or have anyone that I have to really answer to, I can take as long as I want and just be patient on this record.”

She Came in Like a Wrecking Ball: The Wildest Moments from Miley Cyrus’ ‘Rolling Stone’ Profile

Published April 7, 2014 by gossipzoo

The latest curve in this roller coaster we call Miley Cyrus Takes America comes from Rolling Stone, who stuck the reb’l fleur du jour on its cover, all topless and tongue hangin’ out. The gonzo interview strives to get wild and weird: she eats a taco (that’s also a hamburger?)! She gets a weird tattoo! They survive a plane crash (sort of)! At one point “a bummed-looking Oompa-Loompa, who is attached to a cable via a hook on the back of his overalls, gets hoisted up to the ceiling and dropped down to a table of girls, where he delivers a bottle of liquor” is a sentence that is written and then printed.

Our scene begins where any feral child star’s profile does: “[i]n the backroom of a tattoo parlor on North La Brea Avenue in L.A.”

Miley Cyrus gets the words “ROLLING” and “$TONE” tattooed on the bottoms of her feet.

For her first Rolling Stone cover story, Miley wanted to do something fun. “I thought about going to play laser tag,” she says. “But laser tag sucks. And we could have gone bowling, but what are we, 90?” Naturally, the next idea was getting a tattoo.

Miley Cyrus’s neighbors include Diddy’s baby mama, Steve Carell, and the ghosts of some flappers maybe.

Sometimes I’d walk by and see all these people in there dressed up like old-time flappers. I was like, “Is this real – or are you guys all ghosts?”

Miley Cyrus is just as anxious about how Breaking Bad is going to end as you.

Like, I was watching Breaking Bad the other day, and they were cooking meth. I could literally cook meth because of that show. It’s a how-to.

Miley Cyrus’ job as a kid was the clear the bras and underwear off the stage after her father’s concerts.

I’d get a really big one and be like, “Dad! I found your biggest fan!”

Robert DeNiro’s Taxi Driver character is one of Miley Cyrus’ fashion icons.

I bought a pair of Doc Martens. I shaved my head. Driving a fucking Ford Explorer around. Just blending in.

This is all only in preparation for the story’s big outing, wherein Cyrus takes her assistant and Josh Eells, the story’s writer, skydiving. All three survive and reward themselves by going to what Cyrus’ assistant calls “a Mexican White Castle.” Cyrus orders a taco burger, the physics of which are never explained. That night, the crew heads to a nightclub which literally features strippers of the male and female variety, a “miniature Psy” and a six-foot-seven burlesque dancer who was featured in Cyrus’ VMAs performance. This is also where the aforementioned Oompa Loompa comes into play.

That Cyrus’ increasingly bad behavior correlates with her first number one song is no coincidence. In an era where people are brands and brands are people, Cyrus is a marketing mastermind.

Miley Cyrus: My VMAs Performance “Was a Breath of Fresh Air”

Published April 1, 2014 by gossipzoo

First: Happy one month, Miley Cyrus‘ MTV Video Music Awards performance.

Second: Miley Cyrus still has a lot to say about that event.

“I was trying to slap [Robin Thicke‘s] ass but no one saw it! Believe me! MTV edited so much. They cut almost everything I did,” Miley tells the November issue of FASHION magazine.

“I’m proud of that performance. I feel like music is really stale right now. I could have guessed what a lot of artists would have done that night. The reaction to what I did has been insane. I think it was a breath of fresh air! For the people that don’t get it, you weren’t meant to.”

In the interview, conducted 10 days after her foam finger affair, the “Wrecking Ball” singer also dishes on her style (“I think it is better to be stylish than trendy”), her haters (“I have my blinders on”) and a song called “Drive,” which is definitely maybe about ex Liam Hemsworth. (Lyrics for the song are now on Directlyrics.)

“I wrote it while I was working on Valentine’s Day – emotionally it was such a hard time,” Miley says of the track, included in the upcoming Bangerz.

“It is about needing to leave someone but not really wanting to completely cut yourself off from the relationship. It’s a time when you want to leave but you can’t. It’s also about moving on.”
