For those questioning the validity of Prince’s tweets, both Questlove and Tatiana Grace (Twitter’s Head of Artist and Industry Relations for Music) confirmed that it really was the groovy musician behind the messages.
And for those keeping track, this is the same guy who declared that the “internet’s completely over” in an interview with the Daily Mirror in 2010.
“The internet’s like MTV. At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated. Anyway, all these computers and digital gadgets are no good,” he said at the time.
