Cher, Kirstie Alley Support Kanye West For Attacking Paparazzo

Kanye West might have gotten himself into a bit of a tizzy when he attacked a pesky paparazzo last Friday, but some of Hollywood’s biggest names are throwing their support behind the rapper for handing out a can of whoop ass.

Following the scuffle, Cher (yes, the Cher) tweeted out that West shouldn’t turn back time on the whole scuffle, applauding him for standing up to those who invade celebrities’ personal spaces.

She wrote:

Likewise, actress Kirstie Alley praised Kim Kardashian’s longtime beau for whacking “on that asshat Paparazzi.”

“Too bad he didn’t whip his ass with his hat!’ GO KANYE!!” she tweeted.

The incident occurred on July 19 when West, 36, was met with a group of photographers and videographers up leaving Los Angeles International Aiport. When one of them got too close him, Yeezy flipped out, punching hims several before falling to the ground.

According to a spokesperson with the agency the alleged victim was affiliated with at the time, the photographer involved was “quite shaken up” after the fight.

“When I asked him if he was alright, he said, ‘Yes, but I’m having pain in my hip,'” the source told Celebuzz.

“I know the videographer personally and he is the least aggressive guy doing this job. You can also clearly see in the video that he was completely calm, telling Kanye at least three times that he didn’t want to fight and was simply trying to understand why Kanye is so upset at photographers.”

The man has since expressed interest in pressing charges.

A year prior though the pot had already been stirred when Robert’s widow told Star mag that her late husband even expressed doubt about the paternity of Khloe.

So it’s no surprise the tight-knit clan filed a lawsuit claiming the diary belongs to them and their stepmom had no right to sell it, while Ellen counter-sued claiming defamation and that the family is out for revenge (on and off the show) to make her look like a gold digger.

And the Kardashians are ready for a fight, even filing docs in L.A. court last month demanding Ellen pay her former stepkids’ $50,000 attorneys fees because her lawyers “engaged in a calculated effort to avoid and failed and refused to engage in, the requisite meet and confer efforts.”

But in the first legal blow to the family, their request was denied by a judge last Friday, CB! has learned.

It’s also not a shocker that attempts to put this battle to rest have failed, according to docs, after a courtroom pow wow between Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob Jr. on Sept. 12 didn’t end in a settlement.

And so the drama continues…

‘Teen Mom’ Jenelle Evans’ Boyfriend Gets Tasered (And Throws Up) During His DUI Arrest

After Teen Mom Jenelle Evans candidly admitted to police officers that she and her boyfriend were only trying to have sex when they were pulled over for driving erratically, that wasn’t the only thing that went a bit haywire.

Before Nathan Griffith was cited for a DUI on Sept. 7, Evans’ boyfriend was tasered and thrown to the ground for resisting arrest. (Shocking, I know.)

It all started when police followed Griffith to his home (after they saw him driving on the wrong side of the road) in North Myrtle Beach, SC and he ran towards his front door.

According to the police report obtained by Celebuzz, the officer asked for Griffith’s driver’s license which he refused and when police grabbed his wrist to be placed under arrest he resisted by pushing off the cop car and was wrestled to the ground.

Oh, but Griffith wasn’t done toying with police in his drunken stupor.

As he was lying on his stomach he decided to place his hands underneath his body “with locked arms” (because that’s the smart thing to do.) It got so dramatic that another officer arrived to help subdue him – and little did Griffith know that the police had another idea up their sleeve.

Griffith continued to resist arrest… so they tasered him (and the handcuffs went on much easier.)

And just when you thought the eventful night ended there… well, it didn’t.

The arresting officer said Griffith “had a strong smell of alcohol on his breath” (which probably explains why he vomited in the back seat of the police car), he had slurred speech, and they discovered his driver’s license was suspended twice and he has two prior DUI convictions.

Lamar Odom Is Not In Rehab, Says Source

Lamar Odom created yet another media frenzy when it was reported the NBA superstar had checked himself into rehab Wednesday.

However, a source close to Khloe Kardashian‘s husband says that is not the case.

“He has not checked himself into rehab,” a source close to the famous family told Celebuzz.

Rumors have swirled over the internet that that the former Clippers star may take that next step since his DUI arrest on Aug. 30 and after reports ran rampant that he’s battled substance addiction (specifically cocaine) for years, subsequently taking its toll on his high profile marriage.

As things seemed like they were taking a turn for the worse after his stint behind bars, his family was left concerned but still standing by him.

“All of us in the family are upset about what’s going on,” his cousin Michael Mercer previously told CB!, adding that any drug use is news to his relatives.

“This is all very new,” added Mercer.

“If that is what’s allegedly going on and he needs help, he would get my support,” he said. “If he needs to call or just lay low and get help, we are 100 percent behind him.

Even Lamar’s father Joe Odom, who’s gone through his own battle with heroin addiction, wants his son to overcome what’s made headlines.

“I told him I want him to resume his basketball career and that this s**t is not good, it’s a bad look,” he told CB!.

“I love my son.”

Alec Baldwin Pinned a Paparazzi to a Car for Taking Pictures of His Wife

Alec Baldwin, anti-paparazzi activist, went vigilante on a photographer Tuesday in New York, after he took some pictures of his wife Hilaria.

The Baldwins were walking near their West Village home when photographers started to take their picture. According to the New York Post, the two ducked into a tea shop to avoid the photographers, but when one followed them in, Baldwin lost his temper. Photos then show Baldwin holding the photographer against a car and speaking to police after they were called to the scene.

However, if you’d like to read an account with more synonyms, I might suggest this New York Daily News piece. The article describes the event, sure, but it’s mostly dedicated to finding new ways to describe the people involved. It calls the unnamed photographer involved a “freelance photographer,” “the lensman,” and “the unshakable snapper.” It also describes Baldwin as “the 30 Rock star,” “the Emmy winner,” “new dad” and “the habitual hothead.” The Daily News, which claims to have “obtained” the photos (Daily News-speak for “purchasing them from a photo agency”), also describes each picture in excruciating detail. The writeup features one, calling it, “[a] pick [sic] of Hilaria taken at the scene [that] shows the brunette beauty wagging her finger at someone with a stern look on her face.” Oh well if she wagged her finger…

Hilaria did not immediately address the Tuesday morning mayhem on her Twitter page.

“Since giving birth, the word ‘love’ has taken on a whole new meaning. Its depth, and intensity are overwhelming in the most welcome way,” she tweeted Monday.

TMZ reports that both Baldwin and the photographer declined to press charges.

Judge Reportedly Grants Long-Term Psych Hold For Amanda Bynes

Amanda Bynes will be undergoing more permanent psychiatric treatment as a result of a judge’s decision Friday, according to a TMZ report.

And her stay at a mental health facility could last up to a year.

A California judge made the ruling Aug. 30 based on her doctors’ requests for a long-term evaluation, control of which was then given to her mother, Lynn Bynes, who is acting as the actress’s temporary conservator.

The Easy A star was admitted to a facility in late July when authorities placed her on an involuntary psychiatric hold after she set a small fire with a gas can in the driveway of a Thousand Oaks, Calif. home.

Per the TMZ report, the chances of Amanda being held at a hospital for a year are unlikely. Rather, it could be for up to 60 days at which point she would then be moved to her parents home.

The estranged wife of White Stripes frontman Jack White really wants her ex to stay far, far away.

Supermodel Karen Elson, who married the rock star in 2005, has even gone so far as to request a temporary restraining order because she lives “in fear” of him, as first reported by TMZ.

She’s even asked the court in Tennessee for her ex to undergo a psychological evaluation as part of the motion filed July 17, according to legal docs obtained by Celebuzz.

Elson, who filed for divorce in September 2012, states in the documents that she only wants her husband to contact her via email and only if it’s about their children Scarlet, 7, and Henry, 6.

Here are her reasons for a restraining order, per the court paperwork:

– Her “husband has continuously attempted to impose his control” over her, which was “standard behavior throughout their marriage.”

– Her estranged husband has sent emails “laced with profanity” and uses “derogatory names.” According to the docs, in an email from White he wrote, “I’m not extending this anymore, and we’re not getting lawyers involved to rip me off.”

– He allegedly “barrages” Elson with “phone calls and emails, preventing her from carrying on her life in any rational way.”

– She believes White’s forms of communication with her are “threatening” and she “fears for her and her children’s safety as a result of the harassment.”

– Elson believes his alleged tactics are “bullying” and is what, in part, led to their marriage meltdown.

– He has a “violent temper” and was apparently charged with misdemeanor battery after allegedly attacking someone in Detroit, Mich.

– He was ordered to attend anger management classes by the court.

And there’s more. Elson claims her ex-hubby didn’t want their children in the same class as another musician who “ripped off” his music.

Taylor Armstrong is taking back a title she once bestowed upon co-star and former best friend Adrienne Maloof.

The sudden end of the ladies’ friendship comes after years of fans watching them bond throughout the show’s three seasons. During Season 2 in 2011, Armstrong looked to her co-stars, including Maloof and her then-husband Paul, for support after the devastating loss of her husband Russell.

Maloof tweeted at the time: “My heart goes out to Taylor and Kennedy, you will be in my thoughts and prayers.”

But just months after Russell’s passing, Maloof began a bitter battle of words with Armstrong’s close pal Brandi Glanville. The fracas forced Armstrong to stick up for her friend and eventually damaged her relationship with Maloof.
