Mark Wahlberg to Justin Bieber: ‘Stop Smoking Weed, You Little B**tard’

Published July 25, 2014 by gossipzoo

Olivia Wilde and Kat Dennings may have already weighed in on Justin Bieber‘s fondness for taking off his shirt, but fellow shirtless enthusiast Mark Wahlberg is more concerned about the young popstar’s outrageous antics.

The former wild child – who developed a cocaine addiction and blinded a man all before the age of 21 – has given the 19-year-old some sound advice on staying out of trouble while in the public spotlight.

“Justin, are you listening? Don’t be so naughty,” Wahlberg reportedly said in an interview with The Sun. “Be a nice boy, pull your trousers up, make your mom proud and stop smoking weed, you little b**tard.”

“He’s a teenager living in a different day and age. I was in prison before I got a record out and I don’t think he’s been to prison,” he added. As a teenager, Wahlberg served 45 days out of a two-year sentence at Boston’s Deer Island House for assault.

The actor has since apologized for his actions, saying in a 2006 interview with ABC, “I did a lot of things that I regretted and I certainly paid for my mistakes.”

So, given Bieber’s recent past of scuffling with the paparazzi, peeing into mop buckets, spitting on nightclub goers and getting caught with drugs on his tour bus, maybe Wahlberg is onto a little something here. Just saying.

Kendall and Kylie Jenner Claim They’re Not Growing Up Too Fast

Published July 23, 2014 by gossipzoo

Looks like Kylie and Kendall are starting to step out of the Kardashian shadow.

The Jenner girls took a quick trip to the East Coast for the preview of the Kendall and Kylie Fall Collection for PacSun in New York City on Tuesday. Kendall, 17, and Kylie, 15, posed for photos and met with fans at the brand’s SoHo pop-up shop.

The teens have named their sisters, Brandy Melville and (future brother-in-law?) Kanye West as inspirations for their designs.

In between editing Instagram selfies and posting videos to Keek, the duo also stopped by 95.5 PLJ Radio to talk about living in the spotlight.

“We are a little more mature than someone our age but I don’t think we’re growing up too fast in any way,” Kendall told the radio hosts.

“I think we’re doing it right for the situation we’ve been put in,” Kylie said.

Speaking of growing up, Kylie will be celebrating her Sweet 16 on Saturday and we have a feeling it will be a birthday to remember. Here’s to hoping for an E! special!

Selena Gomez Dethrones Jay Z On Billboard 200 Chart

Published July 10, 2014 by gossipzoo

It’s been a good month for Selena Gomez.

Following her 21st birthday, the songstress has set a career record by collecting her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. Her latest record, Stars Dance, has sold over 97,000 copies in the first week, knocking out Jay Z‘s Magna Carta Holy Grail from the top spot.

Previously, Gomez’s single, “Come & Get It,” reached No. 1 on the Top 40 radio charts – and the former Disney starlet got pretty teary-eyed about it.

In an emotional video she uploaded onto YouTube, SelGo is seen breaking down when she learns the big news.

“I’ve done four records and this is the first number one that I’ve ever had, so I can not thank you guys enough. I wanna thank every radio station, my label, and the most important of all is my fans for loving the song, for requesting it. It means so much to me,” she says.

Maybe she’ll celebrate with less tears and more shots of Jack and hot wings this time.

Miley Cyrus: ‘Have I Been To A Strip Club? Yes!’

Published June 25, 2014 by gossipzoo

Miley Cyrus is an artist who knows exactly what she’s singing about.

In a recent interview with London’s Capital FM Breakfast radio show, the songstress admitted to “shaking it like we at a strip club” as her song, “We Can’t Stop,” suggests. (See the full lyrics at Directlyrics.)

“Have I been to a strip club? Yes,” she said.

“I haven’t kept a tally,” she continued when asked how many times she’s been to one, adding that she has stuck dollar bills in G-strings and “made it rain” on dancers in the past.

“Am I supposed to lie? I thought I was confessing!”

Despite her racy image nowadays, the former Disney starlet said her father – country singer Billy Ray Cyrus – is completely fine with her making out with dolls and twerking up a storm.

“I’m 20,” she said “So my dad, he can, like, whatever. He’s proud of me.”

“I don’t do anything that crazy.”

Because, like, simulating oral sex on TV is totally normal.

Mally The Monkey Is Finding It Hard To Make Friends In Germany

Mally Is Adjusting to His New Home

Justin Bieber‘s monkey who’s been adopted by a German zoo is coming to grips with his new home away from Hollywood, but the adjustment into a life beyond the flurry of flashbulbs and red carpet hasn’t been easy for the world’s most famous capuchin.

“Mally needs more time than we thought to get a real monkey,” Serengeti Park spokeswoman Juliane Gunkel told Celebuzz.

Mally’s family drama all began back in March when Bieber had to leave him behind at the Munich airport after failing to produce the proper paperwork to bring his furry friend into the country during a stop on his world tour. Since then, Mally’s been in an animal shelter, quarantine and now bonding (crossing fingers) with his newfound family at the park.

But he’s refusing to let go of his old life of leisure.

“He is ignoring the other monkeys and is totally orientated on human beings and on his teddy bear,” added Gunkel of the stuffed toy animal believed to have been given to the little guy by his famous former owner.

But have no fear, Biebs fans, zoo officials are confident Mally will get his Hollywood happy ending.

This pint-size primate is getting in some girl-time, but hanging out with the boys will just have to wait. They have to watch their new zoo VIP play with their ladies from afar, for now.

“Mally is fine. Our capuchin family moved into the new monkey house, where [he] is since he came out of the quarantine,” said Gunkel.

“After a few weeks of getting comfortable with his new area, we brought the female members and the small one into the monkey house and last week we also took the males into the building.

“Today, the females and Mally can be together in the stable, the males can only watch him through the bars.

“We think within the next two weeks, we can put them all together… for a happy end.”

Selena Gomez Turns 21: Look Back at Her Evolution From Disney Darling to Sexy Songstress

Published May 14, 2014 by gossipzoo

It’s official – another former Disney star has reached the legal drinking age. That’s right, Selena Gomez turns 21 today – and she has already started celebrating.

There is no doubt the “Slow Down” singer has grown up throughout her years in the spotlight. From tackling risky acting roles, to taking on a new techno sound, to showing a little more skin, Gomez is finally starting to shed her good girl image.

While she doesn’t seem like one to get totally sloshed (unlike her character in Spring Breakers), we hope Selena at least toasts to her 21st with a celebratory glass of champagne. Or, whatever those Hollywood youngsters are drinking these days.

In honor of her big day, take a ride down memory lane to see how Gomez has transformed from a sweet starlet to sexy megastar.

Adam Lambert Doesn’t Want To Be An 80′s Cover Artist, So He’s Leaving His Record Label (Report)

Published April 29, 2014 by gossipzoo

Adam Lambert RCA Split

It’s been one hell of a year for Adam Lambert.

Last summer the 31-year-old became the first openly gay recording artist to debut a record at number one on the Billboard 200 Chart, sang onstage with Queen, and, just this week, it was announced that he had landed a guest starring role on the upcoming season of Glee.

Today though, the American Idol alum announced a plan to walk away from his record label and it’s all because of an 80 s cover album. An 80 s cover album that neither he nor his fans wanted.

In a letter sent to The Hollywood Reporter yesterday, Lambert says that although he had a great number of years working at RCA, they ultimately came to a point where their creative differences became too much to bear.

Because he’s so well spoken, you can read his entire statement below:

Thank you for your continued interest in, and support of, my musical career. After reading your article on July 8th, and seeing the very impassioned responses, I thought it would be good to write and let you know what is actually happening with my next album.

I’ve had an amazing few years working with the team at RCA; I admire all of them a great deal, and truly appreciate the energy & enthusiasm that went into making both “Trespassing” & “For Your Entertainment” successes.

That said, at this point, we are indeed having the oft-cited “creative differences” as to what my next project will be. Your article was correct, the label is “pushing for an (80 s) covers album,” and feels that this is the only kind of release they are prepared to support. While there are lots of great songs from that decade, my heart is simply not in doing a covers album.

Over the past four years, I have been truly fortunate to work with an amazing roster of producers, writers and engineers. Thanks to them, I have grown as both a songwriter and a vocalist. Artistically & professionally, I think it is essential that I continue with this evolution. I am already deep into writing new material with some very talented colleagues for a brand new album, and I can’t tell you how excited I am to share this new sound & direction. This music is where my heart is, and I believe that is what my fans want to hear. So after careful consideration, I have made the decision to respectfully part ways with RCA. My passion for the music & respect for the fans will always come first. I am excited to find a new label team who shares this vision.

Yours,

Adam
