Hollywood set up shop in suburban Chicago on Monday and the rare scene was made even more unusual with the A-list likes of Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis filming scenes for their latest sci-fi action flick Jupiter Ascending.
Maybe it was Tatum’s unsignature-like blonde locks (and goatee) or bizarre neck tattoo, but whatever it was the stars drew quite the crowd as they shot scenes at Aux Sable School in Joliet, Illinois and moved to farm country 50 miles outside the Windy City in rural Minooka where the massive cast and crew took over a dilapidated house.
As security kept the growing number of local looky-loos at a distance, Tatum and Kunis diehards snapped pics of the temporary Tinseltown as the new dad rehearsed lines for the car scene in full sci-fi gear (pointy ears included).
Between scenes the co-stars couldn’t help but notice the fan-demonium so practiced their best parade wave and enthusiastic smile before action was called.
