Hilary Duff Seksily Takes On Her Single Status At The Delta Airlines Grammys Weekend Party

Published February 9, 2014 by gossipzoo

That’s right — show off your seksi gams!

Hilary Duff fully committed to putting her legs on display in a printed mini at the Delta Airlines Grammys weekend party in WeHo on Thursday.

Pairing her hi-low hemmed frock with a bold-shouldered blazer, the newly single singer was sure to have soon-to-be ex-hubby Mike Comrie re-thinking their mutual split!

Though we wish Hilary chose a different pair of heels to enhance her stems. The ankle-strap is a little distracting.

Of course with such fab accessories, like her teardrop earrings and Donatienne envelope clutch making up for it, we don’t mind as much!

Grammy Awards 2013: Rihanna Belts It Out For A Stripped-Down Performance (PHOTOS & VIDEO)

Published April 22, 2013 by gossipzoo

Slow jam, indeed.

Rihanna toned down her elaborate and electrifying performances from years’ past, this time opting for a slower beat with “Stay,” her ballad from Unapologetic during the 2013 Grammy Awards on Sunday.

Donning a low-cut black dress, the singer put a twist to the dramatic song as singer-songwriter Mikky Ekko joined her for a duet.

Before hitting the stage, RiRi hit the red carpet in style, arriving in a red, custom-made Azzedine Alaia gown.

Throughout the show, the “Diamonds” singer has also been spotted cozying up to her beau Chris Brown as they enjoyed the evening’s exciting wins and performances.

The pair are respectively nominated for awards: Rihanna earned nods for Best Pop Solo Performance for her song “Where Have You Been” and Best Rap/Song Collaboration for “Talk That Talk” with Jay-Z. As for Chris, he was in contention for Best Urban Contemporary Album.

Rihanna also joined Ziggy Marley for a tribute to the late legend of reggae, Bob Marley, with a cover of “Could You Be Loved.”

Tell us: What did you think of Rihanna’s performances…and reunion with Chris? Sound off in the comments, below.

Chris Brown Wore All-White On Grammys Night To Find ‘Inner Peace,’ Stylist Reveals

Published April 21, 2013 by gossipzoo

Chris Brown

They say white is the color of innocence and tranquility — well, bad boy hip-hop star Chris Brown certainly tried to channel that at the 2013 Grammy Awards.

In recent weeks, Brown got involved in an alleged brawl with Grammy winner Frank Ocean at a Los Angeles recording studio, while the Los Angeles District Attorney also claimed he skipped community service as part of his probation for assaulting Rihanna four years ago.

Then on Saturday, he crashed his Porsche into a wall on the way to a children’s charity event before attending the Roc Nation pre-Grammy brunch. Brown was “ruthlessly pursued by paparazzi,” his rep said.

“It’s cool. I’m fine,” Brown told E!’s Ryan Seacrest before Sunday’s ceremony at Staples Center (You can watch the interview after the jump). “A little bit of bumps. I’m good though.”

And when he stepped out on the red carpet before the world’s press at music’s night of nights, he looked more like ‘an angel’ than ‘a devil’ for the assembled crowds.

“Like most artists, Chris Brown has experienced turmoil both in his personal and professional life,” his stylist, Daver Campbell, told Celebuzz in an exclusive interview.

“White is associated with light, goodness, innocence, purity and virginity and considered to be the color of perfection.”

Campbell and his styling partner, Ugo Mozie, helped mastermind Brown’s red carpet look which compromised of a white Lanvin suit and shirt matched with Dries Van Noten shoes, plus a David Yurman ring and Rolex watch.

The all-white ensemble got the vote of approval from Brown’s on-again, off-again girlfriend Rihanna and perfectly complimented her stunning all red Azzedine Alaia gown. See photos of her flaunt the see-through gown here.

And although he stayed seated to clap Ocean when he beat himout for Best Urban Contemporary Album, Brown’s stylist claims the “Look at Me Now” singer’s outfit reflected how he really felt on the night.

“White represents a successful beginning and only being in the second month of the new year, we wanted to vocalize this with little to no words,” revealed Ugo Mozie.

“I believe Chris wearing white speaks volumes and establish a new journey and peace in his self and rising career in music.”

The two stylists worked closely with Brown to come-up with his Grammy night style and revealed the star was “excited” about attending the event, despite having a tough few weeks.

Campbell and Mozie had three fittings with Brown before he walked the red carpet in a bid to make sure that it was tailored to perfection.

Do you think the R&B singer can stay out trouble this year? Answer yes or no, below.

Grammys 2013: Winners We’d Like To See

Published March 11, 2013 by gossipzoo

With the Grammy Awards coming up on Sunday, I’ve done nothing but listen to the nominees in every category for the past week. I ended up with two hours left over to write essays for two of my classes (see how much we love you?), but I came to a few solid conclusions about some of the artists I feel deserved to win.

Note: I’ll be skipping a few categories that I either don’t follow or have much of an opinion on, so if you feel like some are missing: they are.
Record Of The Year:

Somebody That I Used To Know- Gotye Feat. Kimbra

I don’t really like this song at all, but I have a great respect for everything it did. From the somehow catchy tune to the inventive music video, this track was a very well done overall project. The time it spent atop Billboard makes the argument very easy to formulate as well.
Album Of The Year:

Channel Orange- Frank Ocean

If we go off sales here, my pick won’t look too smart. But “Album Of The Year” has never been completely about sales, so I’ll keep going. I’m a huge Frank Ocean fan, and therefore a little biased, but Channel Orange was done so amazingly that this type of consideration is easy to make a case for. Ocean has some of the most original song concepts that this era of music has seen in a long time, and his vocals are top notch. He writes about things that most artists wouldn’t ever touch, and everything he does just comes across as real. I feel like “Babel” by Mumford and Sons will probably win this category, but the case is definitely there for Channel Orange.
Song Of The Year:

Call Me Maybe- Carly Rae Jepsen

Ok. I know what you’re thinking, but hear me out. “Call Me Maybe” was one of the catchiest (even if you didn’t want it to be), most fun (even if you acted like it wasn’t), and most pick-up line inspiring (even if you were smart enough to NEVER use that line) songs that any of us have ever come across. This song divides people around me into two major groups: those who love it, and those who absolutely hate it- but never change the channel when it comes on the radio. No matter how you feel about “Call Me Maybe”, you have to admit that you absolutely follow along when it comes on. Do I think it will win the Grammy? Nope. In fact, I expect “We Are Young” by Fun. to win that honor, but I sure wouldn’t have a problem if Carly Rae Jepsen’s summer jam spectacular did. Also- 400,087,402 views is a big number.

Cher Lloyd Sexes Up The Friends N’ Family Pre-Grammys Party

Published March 10, 2013 by gossipzoo

Hey there stranger!

Cher Lloyd put her breast foot forward Friday night at the Friends ‘N’ Family pre-Grammys party at Paramount Studios.

The former X Factor contestant wasn’t shy about flaunting her assets in a silk and leather peplum dress with a sheer panel that showed off her black push-up bra.

We’re all for showing off the girls, but maybe make it a little less noticeable.

Black ankle-strap heels, a round clutch and glossy chocolate locks rounded out her sexy look.

U like???

Carly Rae Jepsen Parties In Pearls Before The Grammys

Published March 10, 2013 by gossipzoo

Carly Rae Jepsen looked as pleased as bunch to be at the Friends ‘N’ Family pre-Grammys party in Hollywood last night.

Channeling Emily the Strange, the Grammy nominee wore a black sleeveless top, pearl studded leather mini skirt, and chunky black ankle-strap heels.

Carly also left her hair down in loose curls, but kept her blunt bangs straight, as usual.

Just once we’d like to see her do something with her hair!

Maybe tomorrow night she actually will.
