GABRIEL AUBRY Gets Restraining Order Against OLIVIER MARTINEZ After Brawl

Published November 28, 2012 by gossipzoo

GABRIEL AUBRY just got a restraining order against his ex HALLE BERRY‘s fiance, OLIVIER MARTINEZ, who gave him serious injuries when they brawled at the actress’ home on Thanksgiving last week.

Good!

Gabriel Aubry has gone to court and obtained his own restraining order against his ex Halle Berry‘s fiance, Olivier Martinez, on Monday after he claimed that he was the victim of their wild brawl at Halle‘s home on Thursday morning last week.

Halle also got an emergency order of protection against his model ex, which she plans to extend as soon as possible, but Aubry‘s was obviously a smart move considering that he sustained the most injuries-including an ugly shiny bruise on his face-from what now appears to be an unfair fight.

Aubry got into details in his newly-filed documents following the altercation:

“I suffered numerous injuries as a result of the attack, including a fractured rib, multiple bruises on my face and a number of cuts which required stitches.”

He continued:

“It all happened so fast and so suddenly; I did not see Mr. Martinez‘s actions coming and thus I was not ready for it and was not able to defend myself.”

Aubry only filed the protective order against Olivier as he is also fighting to lift the order that’s barring him from seeing his daughter, Nahla.

At this point, it really is better to be safe than sorry.

Stay tuned.

JUSTIN BIEBER Talks About SELENA GOMEZ And Marriage In Pre-Split Interview On “OPRAH’s Next Chapter”

Published November 27, 2012 by gossipzoo

JUSTIN BIEBER talked about his then-girlfriend SELENA GOMEZ and marriage during his pre-split interview on “OPRAH‘s Next Chapter.”

Awkward!

Oprah‘s Next Chapter” probably made Justin Bieber and then-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, feel incredibly uneasy when the “Boyfriend” singer’s revealing sit-down interview on the show aired on Sunday-almost a month after their split that was allegedly caused by another woman and his “wandering” eye.

Then again, it could very well be an ammunition for the teen pop superstar who is currently trying to win his sweetheart back.

For starters, he talked to Oprah Winfrey about his plans to get married by the age of 25, possibly with Selena. He said:

“We’ll see when I get there. I’m not there yet.”

But Oprah advised him to enjoy his twenties, so the 18-year-old Biebs‘ thought he “should probably listen” to her just like he listens to his mom, Pattie Mallette, who had him by accident before she turned 20.

Justin said about the thought of having babies at his age:

“I couldn’t imagine having a baby right now. It’d be crazy. I’m not ready for that.”

Finally, when asked about Selena, Justin gushed:

“I feel like she’s one of the most genuine people.”

He added:

“She just has a good heart. I can talk to her about everything.”

Aaww.

Do you think Selena will find it in her “good heart” to take him back after watching the interview?

LINDSAY LOHAN On ELIZABETH TAYLOR Role: “Everything I’ve Gone Through Made Me Ready” For It

Published November 27, 2012 by gossipzoo

LINDSAY LOHAN once again spoke about her role as ELIZABETH TAYLOR in the TV biopic, “Liz & Dick,” and admitted that “everything that I’ve gone through made me ready” for it.

How becoming of her!

Campaigning for the role and finally getting to become legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor in the newly-premiered Lifetime biopicLiz & Dick” is both a comeback and a dream come true for Lindsay Lohan.

But playing the late screen legend is obviously a serious job even for the best Hollywood actresses, which was why Lindsay has been slammed for being undeserving of the part and received at least one bad early review for her portrayal of Taylor.

Nonetheless, Lohan is proud of her work. But why does she think so highly of herself and her acting skills?

She told Us Weekly during a recent exclusive sit-down interview:

“Everything I’ve gone through made me ready to play Liz.”

Indeed, she was a child star-turned-tabloid favorite for her troublesome past, her unhealthy relationships and her thing for alcohol and drugs–just like her late actress friend and mentor was.

She continued:

“Since I was a kid, I’ve loved being on camera. Don’t misconstrue that: I didn’t strive to have flashbulbs at dinner or people who don’t know me calling TMZ. And 99 percent of the time, it’s not true.”

And like Taylor, she was both lucky and unlucky for being a huge star under a microscope and having most of her life plastered all over Hollywood news since she was little. Lindsay revealed:

“I feel bullied. I can’t think of any actor who has been subjected to such extreme publicity who hasn’t, like, committed suicide.”

LiLo then suggested that she may even be better than Elizabeth herself–when it comes to professionalism, at least. The 26-year-old star declared:

Elizabeth was drunk on sets. I’ve never been drunk on set, ever. I did my time and I respect the law.”

And what might Taylor advise Lindsay to do other than to do her justice and reap the benefits of good reviews?

Lindsay told the mag:

“She probably would have said, ‘Figure it the hell out.’ You have to learn it for yourself sometimes.”

We wouldn’t say that she has, but we do hope her high-profile role proves that she’s getting there.

What can you say about Lindsay‘s statements?

10 Wicked Video Game Assassins That Couldn’t Be Stopped

Published November 26, 2012 by gossipzoo

Now that gamers have finally had a chance to experience Assassin’s Creed 3 in all its glory and the climax of Desmond Miles’ story, it is now truly time to reflect upon his ancestors. No, not his direct ancestors but rather we can commemorate Desmond and the series as a whole by taking a look back 10 of the most bad ass assassins from games gone by.

10. Corvo Attano

The latest addition to these ranks of assassins, Corvo is the playable character in Arkane Studios’ Dishonored. He wields what might be the coolest set of skills on this list too, including but not limited to the ability – teleport short distance, possess animals & humans, slow & stop time and turn dead bodies to ash. The combination of those incredibly effective powers and that bad ass steam punk look means he had to be included on the list.

9. Assassin

From one of the newest to one of the oldest. Assassin was a Commodore Amiga game that came out 20 years ago and starred a character known as, you guessed it, Assassin.

Assassin is a side scrolling platform & shoot ‘em up in the style of Contra. The original edition featured one of the most unlikely of assassination weapons – a boomerang! The Special Edition, bizarrely, made the change to replace the boomerang with a laser gun. Either way, the protagonist paved the way for many that came after him.

10 Movies That Should Have Been Included in the National Film Registry By Now

Published November 26, 2012 by gossipzoo

The Library of Congress’ National Film Registry is a treasure trove of excellence in filmmaking. It has everything from silent films to animated shorts, avant-garde fare to Hollywood blockbusters, documentaries to old-time serials. To be eligible for inclusion, a film must be at least ten years old and meet the simple threshold of being “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant”. As of 2012, 575 films have been preserved. 25 more will join them at the end of the year.

But there are literally dozens of classic films out there that are long overdue for inclusion. Whether we grew up with them as kids or discovered them at some point along our film-watching odyssey, they deserve to be placed among the very best of American cinema. Here are ten of what I consider to be likely contenders for inclusion in the registry. They represent a wide variety of genres and filmmaking techniques.

10. Mary Poppins

The registry includes a handful of Disney’s animated features but so far has not deemed any of its live-action output worthy of consideration. I don’t think I’ll get any arguments when I say that Disney’s record when it comes to live-action movies has been uneven over the years. But in 1964, they outdid themselves with a sumptuous film version of P.L. Travers’ book series about a magical nanny.

With memorable performances by Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke and unforgettable songs by the Sherman brothers, this childhood favorite may be excessively sentimental at times but it remains one of Disney’s proudest achievements. And where else in the history of film can you see dancing chimney sweeps?

Robert Pattinson And Kristen Stewart Touch Down In The States After A London Thanksgiving!

After seemingly endless promotional duties for the release of Breaking Dawn – Part 2, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are still together!

And now, they’re back in the States!

The famous pair arrived at JFK airport Friday after reportedly spending their Thanksgiving across the pond in London with R-Patz’s family, and as you can see (above), they look put together but understandably jet-lagged!

Then again, our KStew does look a little grumpy!

Perhaps having to face the family members of the man you cheated on over the summer with your director made this trip more than its share of uncomfortable!

But hey! They’re still standing strong, so we have a feeling that even if there were a little awkwardness, it’s all been resolved!

Here’s hoping it can stay that way from here on out!
